Self-Certification

At Ovia Capital, we require prospective investors to self-certify their investor status across various categories including experience, risk tolerance, and net worth. This allows us to evaluate which investment opportunities may be suitable to discuss further based on the client’s profile and goals.

You must self-certify as a specific type of investor based on your knowledge, experience, or net worth. This helps us ensure that the investment opportunities we present to you are appropriate for your financial situation.

Self-certifying doesn’t obligate you to make any investments. However, we must have your declared investor status on file before we can discuss any investment opportunities with you. In some cases, we may also need you to provide supporting evidence.

R

High-Net-Worth Individuals

I have an annual income of more than £100,000 or savings of more than £250,000 and I understand my capital is at risk if I proceed.

Sophisticated Individual

I have previous experience of similar financial products or other alternative investments and I understand my capital is at risk if I proceed.

Don’t invest unless you’re prepared to lose all the money you invest. This is a high-risk investment, and you are unlikely to be protected if something goes wrong.
